An exciting new partnership launches wheelchair accessible boat trips from Easter this year as Wetwheels South East joins the existing Dover Sea Safari RHIB (rigid-hulled inflatable boat) ‘Dover Explorer’.

This will offer unique experiences to people who would normally be prevented from taking part in activity on the water. While giving everyone a thrilling powerboat ride, the Wetwheels boats have been designed to give a safe and stable ride for all types of abilities.

The schedule runs from Easter to Halloween. Check out the regular trips to:

  • Secret Seals of the South East
  • White Cliffs of Dover
  • Maunsell Forts

Wetwheels can also get a group on the water to fall in love with boating activities. The wide range of exciting charter options includes:

  • The Wetwheels South East experience – everyone can have a go at driving the boat!
  • Family outings and sightseeing
  • Fishing trips
  • RYA Disability boating courses
  • Photography trips
  • Marine and environmental studies
  • School and college trips
  • Birdwatching

Wetwheels South East and Dover Sea Safari would like to thank MMM Magazine for their help and support in bringing Wetwheels to
the South East – helping to build disabled and disadvantaged people’s confidence by providing the opportunity to access the sea in a fun, safe, stimulating and rewarding way using specially modified, fully accessible powerboats.

This is only possible through the support of its donors and partner organisations.
