Christmas Market. We’ve found the best in the county for you to enjoy
Visit the Christmas Market on the Cedar Lawn overlooking the Castle to discover a splendid array of seasonal gifts, toys, festive decorations, specialist food and drink at this historic venue near Maidstone.
Children and adults alike will be enchanted by the reindeer and birds of prey, while traditional funfair rides and live music performances from the bandstand at 12noon, 2pm and 4pm each day will keep everyone entertained.
The entertainment is included in the price of admission to the castle, but additional charges apply for the funfair rides.
The Christmas Markets are on from
24-25 November, 1-2 December,
8-9 December & 15-16 December.

This year the Christmas Market at Whitefriars has been designed for a truly memorable shopping experience, with
70 traders offering festive products.
This Christmas Market is special in that it supports local traders from Kent and their bespoke products, as well as a mix of national and international traders.
Meeting over mulled wine, enjoying locally-produced cuisine, or buying that perfect one-of-a-kind gift for someone special at this wonderful Christmas Market is priceless!
Along with the festive gifts on offer you will find hearty speciality food and drink ranging from traditional Bratwurst, Mulled Wine to Hot Toddies.

Enjoy a host of Christmas stalls showcasing handmade festive gifts, local food and drink, music and a Grotto – all positioned along Tenterden’s beautiful and historic High Street.
The Tenterden Christmas lights procession and switch-on takes place on Friday 23 November from 4.40pm, followed by carols around the Christmas tree at 5,45pm. The market runs from 23-25 November
The historic Market Place, with its beautiful Guildhall, plays host to stalls brass bands, music and carol singing and… donkeys!
The Faversham Christmas Markets have become a popular yearly event, and are the place to pick up gorgeous, locally-made gifts and produce, enjoy some festive music and sip a glass or two of mulled wine.
