Topes is a family-run, independent, neighbourhood restaurant.
We are centrally located in Rochester High Street and have been feeding people since 2004.
Laura looks after front-of-house, with a professional and friendly team, and Adam is head chef in the kitchen with a passionate brigade of chefs. We are open for coffee and cake from 11am, and serve lunch from mid-day and breakfast on Saturdays from 9.30am.
Afternoon tea follows and dinner is served from 6.30pm. Traditional roasts are offered on a Sunday lunchtime and a private dining room is available for family and business gatherings for up to 14 people.
Our dishes are modern British in style and we have been awarded two AA rosettes. We look forward to welcoming diners, both new ones and our regulars, and hope that you enjoy eating some fabulous food in our charming eatery.
Every Friday night, Topes turns into Rochester’s first gin palace.
With over 50 premium gins, Fever-Tree tonics and full bar, wine list, cocktails and beer on tap for non-gin lovers, Topes opens at 6.30pm for grown-up drinks and bar food. Bookings taken but not essential – just pitch up, grap a seat and we will serve you at your table. We’re turning up the music (a bit!), lowering the lights and having some fun!
