HEMPSTEAD VALLEY

Father Christmas’s traditional Grotto will open at the Gillingham shopping centre on Saturday 17 November at 2pm, when stars of the The Central Theatre, Chatham’s pantomime – Dick Whittington – will officially welcome Father Christmas to his Grotto.
The Grotto features many enchanting characters, including a snowman and giant candy canes and sweets.
Entrance to the Grotto to visit Father Christmas costs £5 per child, and includes a wrapped gift.

WHITEFRIARS


At the Canterbury Christmas Market, children will enter Father Christmas’s new magical Grotto in groups of four after being greeted by his festive little helpers.
Once in the Grotto, either Mrs Claus or one of her team will read the children a magical story. From here, they will enter Father Christmas’s Lounge, and every child will receive a special scroll and gift for being ‘nice’ all year.

LEEDS CASTLE


Wander through the Christmas Market to an enchanted path leading to a magical Grotto. Father Christmas will be waiting to greet you.
Those who have been good, which of course you all are, will receive a traditional gift.
Only children need a ticket to see Father Christmas, but all members of your group will need an admission ticket to Leeds Castle.

Enjoy a special family encounter at the Reindeer Centre’s Christmas Grotto. Visit Father Christmas in his festive cabin where every child receives a quality wrapped present and option to purchase a souvenir photo.
Wonder through the seven animated scenes in the magical 150ft Christmas Grotto then visit the undercover animal barn where you can feed the Reindeers and meet the farm animals including goats, pigs, donkeys, llamas, guinea pigs and the cheeky meerkats in the Reptile Corner.

WALNUTS

The Orpington shopping centre has completed plans to bring Father Christmas back for the festive period. His free Grotto will open at 3pm on 15 November to begin the town-wide celebrations and Orpington Lights Switch-On.
Children will receive a present from Father Christmas to take away, and elves will be on hand to help young ones write a letter to Santa asking for their favourite gifts in their stockings. The elves will also check which list they currently appear on – Naughty or Nice! And there will be a brilliant online game for everyone to play while waiting in the queue.
Walnuts will be collecting donations to support their local charity, The Maypole Project.
Father Christmas’s Grotto will be open on 1, 8, 15 & 16 December and from
19 December to Christmas Eve.
