Located in the seaside town of Ramsgate, here is where you will discover the true delight of Indian cuisine. With its delicate infusion of spices, Anil brings you a taste of the traditional food of the Indian sub-continent.
Anil started his journey in India, moving to Dubai, London and finally settling in Ramsgate where, in 2013 he became the proud owner/head chef of Flavours by Kumar. Anil’s aim is to convey his passion for Indian cuisine in a way which gives you a taste of perfect Indian dishes. Bringing exquisite Indian food to the town of Ramsgate, and here are just some of the dishes you will find on the menu. Fish Amritsari, a fresh water basa fish from Asia, prepared in Punjabi style. Spiced with mango powder and served with homemade fishcake.
Wood Pigeon Tikka, is pigeon breast marinated in spices and yogurt, chargrilled, served on a bed of aromatic ground game minced patty. Then there’s Double Ka Meeth, a very popular dessert from Hyderbad. It is a bread pudding cooked with milk, saffron, cardamom and dry fruits served with vanilla ice cream.
You will always find specials on the board, like Lamb Shank served with mint and coconut sauce, or maybe Spiced Crispy Whitebait, so make sure you check out the specials board before you order.
We are open Christmas Day and Boxing Day, and bookings are now being taken, you can also book your Christmas party too. Available for celebrations, Flavours by Kumar can also offer outside catering.
